Rafael Castro
Rafael Castro is the General Manager and Partner of Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Clifton Park. With over 25 years in the auto industry, 20 of those certified with Stellantis, Rafael has held various positions – including sales consultant, sales manager, finance manager, fleet manager, and performance manager.
In his prior role as Dealer Performance Manager for Dennis and Co. Auto Group, Rafael monitored each dealership’s overall productivity, efficiency, and gross profitability. With extensive experience in automotive sales, service, and parts departments, he oversaw the stores’ general managers, sharing new ideas, concepts, and training on various dealer tools.
Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Rafael was the youngest of five siblings. His mother, a housewife, and father, an electrician, still reside in the Dominican Republic along with his siblings. In search of better opportunities, Rafael migrated to the United States alone in 1988 after graduating from high school, settling in Yonkers, New York, where he remained for 28 years.
In 1995, Rafael began his automotive career in the sales department at Yonkers Avenue Dodge, where he had the pleasure of meeting Brian Dennis, for whom in 2010 he began working and has been with ever since. As the auto group grows, Rafael has taken an active role in its expansion as a partner.
In addition to his successful automotive career, Rafael believes his most outstanding achievement is reaching the American dream and putting his children through college, giving them the opportunity he didn’t have. They are now independent young professionals with bright futures ahead of them.
Rafael currently resides in Stamford, Connecticut. During his free time, he likes to work out, loves spending time with his family, enjoys traveling, and being on the water. Rafael has twice trained for and completed the New York City Marathon – meeting his goal time both years.
