Jason Mershon
As parts director, Jason focuses on performance in profitability, inventory management, staff morale, and overall departmental growth for all parts departments in the group. He coaches, motivates, and trains parts management, helping them succeed in their roles.
Jason also works closely with the service and accounting teams to resolve problems and instill written processes to maintain specific metrics. He’s also responsible for DMS installations with new acquisitions.
Jason’s diverse skill set is vital in building relationships between staff and vendors and includes a high aptitude for creating processes and procedures, inventory management, CDK, and DMS functionality.
He continually achieves financial growth within fixed operations each month by building relationships with all department heads and creating pathways for his staff to become leaders in their respective roles.
With 23 years in the automotive industry, Jason has been named Volkswagen Master Certified Parts Manager, VW Outstanding Performer in Inventory Control, and for five years in a row, Top Area Performer in Overall Parts Sales. He is also a proud member of the Volkswagen National Parts Council.
Jason is also a proud gold member of The National Rifle Association and a platinum member of the Northeast Precision Rifle Society. He also holds a USA Hockey Coaching Certification.
He is currently working toward a degree in Business Management at Strayer University.
Originally from Fairfield, Connecticut, Jason currently resides in New Milford. In his free time, he likes spending time with his wife Tara and their two children. Jason is a fan of DJ’ing and producing house music, coaching youth hockey, gunsmithing, and competing in precision rifle tournaments.
