Barry L. Schaen
Barry Schaen is Special Administrative Advisor at Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. As the corporate finance expert for the dealership, he is responsible for leading financial planning/strategy, monitoring and reporting on financial performance, reviewing month-end bonuses, and optimizing the company’s pricing models.
Prior to his current role, Barry was General Manager at Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram from 2011 to 2015. In this position, he mentored/trained staff and managed daily operations, maximizing dealership sales and gross profits. Before joining the Eastchester dealership, Barry was Dealer Principal/Owner at Adzam Auto Sales. He also served in additional positions at Adzam, including General Manager, Sales Manager, and Finance/Insurance Manager.
While at Adzam Auto Sales, Barry sold 2000+ new and used cars annually and achieved a Top 10 ranking in new Chrysler Jeep sales in the Northeast region. He was also one of the first dealers nationwide to obtain the prestigious Chrysler Five Star Dealer Quality designation. By adhering to the manufacturer’s stringent recertification requirements for customer service and dealer operations, he retained this status for 13 consecutive years until 2011, the time at which he began employment with Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge.
During his career, Barry has developed deep expertise in a variety of areas such as sales, finance, purchasing, capital loans, service/parts, inventory control/management, facility operations, customer service, advertising, and employee recruiting. He is also skilled in using lead management software programs and dealership management systems.
Barry studied Business at Pace University. He has multiple industry certifications and has been a Notary Public since 2001. His professional affiliations include the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association, National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), and NADA-20 Group (industry networking/consulting, 1998–2009).
